Cathy Woods



Long-time international yoga teacher/presenter and life skills retreat leader since 1991, Cathy has been guiding students of all ages, levels, abilities and beliefs to create their own healthy lives, and to experience peace, joy and love through the practice of yoga. A registered multi-style teacher through Yoga Alliance, who maintains a connection with the Kripalu Lineage, but teaches “the yoga of her heart.” Cathy’s mission is share authentic yoga, keeping yoga true to its roots. Her classes, workshops and retreats are offered through community programs, colleges, yoga retreats centers, resorts and spas throughout the US and beyond.  Known as “an authentic yogini who embodies the true essence of the practice,” Cathy is an adaptable and intuitive teacher, offering retreat-style programs with a balanced blend of yoga and life skills sessions. Cathy is a published author of yoga articles and a contributing writer for Yoga Digest Magazine and creator of Body, Mind, Equine.
