The Candlelight Elopement Retreat is created for couples who want their special day to feel less like a production — and more like a moment. This private retreat unfolds over one night on our mountain property, allowing space for both celebration and rest.
This is a private, couples-only experience that blends cozy accommodations with unhurried moments together. More than a ceremony, it’s a honeymoon-style escape with the added gift of beginning your marriage in a way that feels entirely your own.

How Your Time Unfolds
Your experience begins with early check-in at 1pm in our Cloud 9 Elopement Suite, with sweeping mountain and lake views. Settle in, savor the anticipation, and soon after, your marriage is made official in a way that feels natural, intimate, and entirely your own.
Many couples today are choosing to simply legalize their marriage — a relaxed signing experience that keeps the focus on the two of you rather than a formal ceremony. It’s become an increasingly popular approach for couples who want the intimacy of becoming legally married without the structure of traditional vows. Our on-site staff can finalize your certificate with ease, allowing the day to feel natural, unrushed, and entirely your own.
If you do prefer a ceremony, you’re welcome to book your own officiant, or we can provide one for a small fee. Exchange vows surrounded by nature in a setting free from the stress of a large event, followed by newlywed portraits across our scenic mountain property.
As the sun begins to set, you’ll transition into the heart of the experience: a private treetop soaking cabana reserved exclusively for you. Enjoy a three-hour sunset-to-dark soak high above the forest, surrounded by an abundance of glowing candles, warm water, stillness, champagne, and a thoughtfully curated charcuterie board. Your photographer can capture the first moments, then steps away — leaving you to soak, unwind, and savor the evening together in complete privacy.
The next morning is intentionally slow. Sleep in, enjoy French press coffee and fresh pastries delivered to your door, and ease into your first full day as a married couple. With a relaxed noon checkout, there’s nowhere to be and nothing to do but enjoy one another.
