This was hands down the most magical, peaceful, and relaxing experience my husband and I have ever had. It was wonderful from start to finish, the honor Market and cafe were super adorable and wholesome and stocked with great goodies. The view was absolutely incredible from every single spot and there were a ton of places to sit and relax with an incredible view. We paid for the soaking experience to kick off our honeymoon and LOVED it! I told my husband 10 minutes in I had never been so relaxed in my life. We were so happy, we decided to sit on their patio couch area and enjoy the quiet and the view while we opened up wedding presents and cards from our friends and family. It made the moment even more special. We have decided we will definitely be returning MANY MANY times and will stay over next time!

I just returned from a 4-night stay and it was absolutely perfect. Between the accommodating staff, the gorgeous view from my cabin, and the revitalizing cabana soak, I’ve returned home feeling relaxed, refreshed and renewed. The 2.5 mile trail to the mountain top on site was perfectly challenging but not too hard as we witnessed the mountains begin their seasonal bloom. From the hammocks to the coffee shop stocked with goodies to the spa shop with an array of soaps, candies, lotions and towels, everything was so perfect. Being right next to Bryson City was a treat visiting various chocolate shops, cafes, galleries and gift shops to the closeness of waterfalls and various trails, this will now be a yearly trip for my family. Thank you!

My wife decided to take a last minute trip to NC for our anniversary. I had my doubts, especially when we first pulled up to no staff onsite. But, I was quickly surprised by the room and the grounds. It was very quiet and almost like a ghost town. But that’s what made it special, low key and relaxing. The rooms are simple but very clean. No TV but plenty of cell service with Verizon. The lounge room/honor market is something out of a movie and set the tone for the whole weekend. The soak is amazing but wish it was at sunset. Thank you, Lakeview!!

At first I was a little skeptical about this place. As it advertise, places like this does not exist in the US, especially not in North Carolina, however I am here to say, it does exist right in our background of North Carolina. I surprised my wife for our anniversary and birthdays with this small intimate getaway. She loved it so much we extended our trip for another night. The staff is so friendly, warm and welcoming. It is all contactless, however when we needed something or someone, there was always a member of the team accessible. The Cabana is everything and the local favorites does not pay Bryson City, North Carolina justice. There is so much to enjoy there. If you find yourself at Lakeview at Fontana, please schedule a four day trip to experience all it has to offer, also, make sure to check the weather.

I found Lakeview on Google, the website looked great, I saw the location had nice views and I was intrigued by the soak experience. Luckily, they had availability so I booked a room. I must say my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was very nice and cozy. The soaking experience was amazing, we considered doing it twice! We'll definitely add this to our getaways list.

I enjoyed our stay very much! The honor market really sets a beautiful tone for this space and the soaking cabanas are magic. Everything about this place is sooo refreshing and right! Thank you to all who make the stay+soak so peaceful and relaxing.

This place is enchanting - It has this rustic European vibe with incredible views. We stayed three nights in a king suite (#5) - it had its own covered front porch with a view of Lake Fontana nestled below the Smoky mountains in the distance. The Inn's lounge was cozy with the windows open full of fresh mountain air... it all just feels special from the moment you arrive. It helps you disconnect and rejuvenate without even trying. We soaked in the upper Cabana - even if you don't stay here in a room, doing a cabana soak is well worth it. The Inn is also very close to Bryson City which has a great downtown area and just minutes from easy waterfall hikes (Deep Creek Trails). Kudos to the hospitable staff and those who designed this place - it's a treasure.

My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about the soaking cabana at Lakeview!! If you are looking for the feel of an tropical oasis with the breath of fresh mountain air, try Lakeview at Fontana; you will not be disappointed. With 100% contact-free check-in & departure. It’s the perfect location for rest & reset! 🌴🌄 It made our 4th of July trip all the more special and I cannot wait for our next visit.

This magical place is the trip of a life time. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of feeling disconnected with the world and at peace within this tucked away gem. The lounge offers a warm rustic Scandinavian style. The doors and windows were open and felt cozy with natural dim lights throughout the lounge. Hospitality and kindness was shown every step of the way, while we were there! They even allowed you to text for any questions while you stayed, to ensure all your needs are met. The Soak is breathtaking, with a beautiful location being tucked back into the woods. It’s very private and is more enchanting than we could have possibly imagined!
Thank you ladies for creating a space that feels so inviting, warm, private, and simplistic. We are looking forward to seeing you again!

We spent a few days here and it was hands-down the most relaxing trip I've ever been on. They've made it so easy, checking in and checking out are fast and effortless. The rooms/suites are simple and clean. Furniture was comfortable. Our suite had enough utensils to make breakfast and small meals as needed, and extra appliances such as toasters are available to borrow from the downstairs lending area. All purchasable items are honor system based making it friction free should you need to pick up anything.
The soaking cabana experience was a real highlight. I was somewhat skeptical on this given the price, but it was incredible. The combination of piping hot water, an overhead heater, soft spa music playing, and the cool outdoor breeze relaxed every sense as the sun began to set. The tub was plenty large enough for two, and it felt like two plus years of pandemic stress just melted away in minutes. I would absolutely recommend this add-on experience, it was truly worth every penny.
Likewise, the hammock seats outside were a great spot to just sit and relax, surrounded by greenery and nature. You hear a little road noise when outdoors, though it's not intrusive at all. From inside the room it's practically silent.
The resort staff were nearly invisible, very helpful if you needed anything but there's no banging on the door while yelling 'HOUSEKEEPING!' going on here. Shortly before arrival we got a text message with check in instructions. Throughout our stay we were able to respond to this text message with any questions, and got super fast and helpful answers. It really makes you realize how convoluted and inefficient traditional hotel processes are.
The location is perfect - remote and serene enough to unwind and decompress, yet a relatively short drive from Bryson City and Franklin. An Ingles grocery store is also close by, and several Wal-Mart stores are not much further out.
We took a ~45 minute drive to Dry Falls, and stopped at several other attractions along the way. A scenic trip of the Great Smokey Mountain railroad (departing from Bryson City just 12 minutes away from the resort) rounded off an excellent trip.
One word of advice - some of the nearby restaurants close fairly early, and are closed altogether on Monday/Tuesday. If you are planning to arrive much later than 5pm, I'd recommend securing dinner plans beforehand - either verifying what's open and how far away it is, or stopping for a meal on the way here.
